The NSW Department of Education’s Education and Skills Reform division presented on the proposed School Community Charter.

The AMC received and accepted the Financial Report presented by Accountant Anthony Ashby followed by updates from Managers.

The Australian Government’s Department of Education is developing a First Nations Education Policy and are exploring engagement with the National Aboriginal Torres Strait Islander Education Corporation (NATSIEC) to lead consultation with state and territory AECGs.

Discussion centred around the need to have the 2nd State Meeting for 2025 in November prior to departing for WIPCE to maximise State Committee members time away from family and work.

The NSW AECG engaged consultants to assist the transfer of corporate structure to a more appropriate suitable structure and update our constitution to reflect the work of our organisation.
