Network Message - Community Connector Update

The NSW Government recently announced $6.2 million over three years to continue the Aboriginal Community Connector Program as part of the broader $246.8 million Closing the Gap investment in partnership with Aboriginal organisations. The NSW Aboriginal Education Consultative Group Inc. (NSW AECG) and the NSW Aboriginal Land Council (NSWALC) have agreed the Community Connector Program will be transferred to the NSW AECG to manage, as originally intended.

NSWALC and NSW AECG are working closely together to ensure a smooth transition and for the program to continue to successfully service the needs of Aboriginal students.

Further updates will be provided by NSWALC and NSW AECG as they become available.
