Communique - NSW AECG Association Management Committee

The NSW Aboriginal Education Consultative Group’s Association Management Committee met in Sydney on 7 and 8 May 2026.

The President provided an update on recommendations and actions from the Annual General Meeting and Annual Conference.

The President provided an update to the organisation of the 1st State Meeting and confirmed agenda items with the AMC.

The Policy and Strategy Manager provided an update on the policy project which Yamagigu has been engaged to strengthen and/or confirm workplace policies.

The Network Support Manager and Policy and Strategy Manager presented an update on the Transfer of Corporate Structure project and what is planned to be presented to the State Committee and then at the Super Regional meetings.

The President provided an update on the Chief Executive position and Managers provided an update on their teams achievements against the Strategic Plan and service agreements.

The Director, Leadership and Direction presented a proposal for phase two of the Re-imagining Evaluation Framework (R-iEF). The proposal included potential future research projects on a national scale.
